We had an amazing stay at a charming countryside guest farm. The customer service was fantastic with friendly and helpful staff. We found the directions and warnings for road conditions very useful. We loved the beautiful and spacious rooms decorated with a cozy fireplace and romantic bedrooms. We also enjoyed the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and animals on the farm. The horse ride for kids at the nearby stables was a great activity.
One of the dogs on the farm was not kid-friendly, growling and baring its teeth at our children. We had to keep an eye on them at all times on the property. Additionally, quiet time was not observed by other guests, disturbing our sleep. There were some small irritations with limited cutlery and plates, no braai tongs and a gas water heater that was tricky to use. Despite these minor issues, we still had a great experience overall.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The view from the hotel was breathtaking, with mountains and a little farm that made me feel like I was in a fairytale. The rooms were spacious and cozy, and I especially enjoyed the romantic breakfast picnic with a view of snow-capped mountains. this hotel exceeded my expectations and is definitely one of my top 10 places to stay in South Africa.
The only minor issue at this hotel was the gas water heater, which was a bit tricky to figure out. However, it ended up being a source of laughter as we tried to adjust the temperature.

the stunning location provided breathtaking views of the mountains, and it was close enough to have a day out in Clarens. the room was spacious and homey, with a fireplace perfect for chilly evenings. the warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and the farm animals were an added treat. the breakfast picnic was delicious and fresh, enhanced by the beautiful scenery.
The kitchen facilities were limited, which made cooking a bit of a challenge.

One of the highlights of this hotel is its attention to detail. From the cozy sitting area in front of the fireplace to the well-furnished spacious rooms, every aspect of the guesthouse is thoughtfully designed for comfort. The warm blanket and electric blanket provided were a lifesaver during the cold weather. Additionally, the staff's great communication before and during our stay made us feel welcome and cared for.
